Affordable housing, Coe Lake, a birthing center: Cuyahoga County Council mulls $2.36M in grants for community projects
CLEVELAND, Ohio – Cuyahoga County Council is considering awarding $2.36 million in grants to five community projects meant to spur more affordable housing and strengthen neighborhoods.
The largest grant, $1 million, would go to the Cuyahoga County Land Reutilization Corporation, better known as the Land Bank. The money is meant to stimulate housing in District 10, particularly in the Circle East District of East Cleveland as well as the Glenville, Cleveland Heights, Euclid-Green and Collinwood neighborhoods.
